Wedding Stationery: Oak Tree

Max and Galina are two of my dear friends, so when they asked me to do their stationery for their September wedding of last year (yeah, it’s taken me a while to blog about these), I was honored. They wanted mixed type with one illustrative element, a tree. Perfect. Printed on creamy smooth paper with gray inks and coordinated with a gray linen envelope, this set was one of my favorites of 2011.

Here’s one of their wedding photos from Daniel Usenko:

When your sweetheart has a big heart, you need to send along a bigger heart via a fun card. So how about something sparkly with a handmade touch? Start by downloading the heart card template HERE. Print it scaled at 100% on smooth paper at least 80# in weight. Then follow the steps below to get your own sparkling heart.

Easy enough, right? I’d love to see the ones you put together for your sweethearts…

I started thinking about rebranding my company months and months ago. This past autumn I finally made my first move. With the help of some of my artistically talented friends, we started rolling. Some of you might have already been following my rebranding adventure. It’s been an exciting process as I saw, and continue seeing, my new brand and website come together. It’s nearly there. The confetti is almost ready to fall!

Anastasia Marie is not only getting a new look, but I’m also adding on lots of new things in the Shop. Come April, get ready to start seeing more notecard sets, embellishments, ribbon, paper confetti, tags, stamps, paper garlands, and more! I’ve been creating inspiration palettes to help you all get inspired, so now I hope you’re inspired enough to start creating your own little paper projects — with a few ingredients from Anastasia Marie’s Shop of course!

Join the mailing list (which you can find at the bottom of this blog in the footer section) to be the among the first to find out when the new site is launched! I won’t be sending out any news + updates until the new site is up, so don’t be worried if you get nothing from me in the next two months.

Custom Card: A Seattle Stroll

Remember the giveaway that I hosted on Discover Paper back in November? The gal who won the custom card received this card that I have dubbed A Seattle Stroll. It’s been a while and I’m only getting around to blogging about it now.

Her and her husband met in Seattle for the first time, so this card is something extra special as they take a stroll back to where they began. Such a cute idea that the winner had, don’t you think?
