I’ll be taking this week off from blogging as I prepare for something big. If you follow me on Instagram, you might remember me saying something about packing up and moving into our very own home (photo #4 below, to be exact, shared that news with you). Well, that time has come. This week is officially our moving week. I’ll be spending my time scrubbing our new home from ceiling to floor, moving our million packed boxes on over and unpacking the most important things like toothpaste and a set of tea mugs, and setting my office back up in order to get back into a normal schedule next week. I’m super excited and itching to get started already.

So what’s been happening in the studio lately?

1    I put together my most favorite baby shower invitations last week and…

2   …wrapped them up to give them to my client. It’s probably the best part of any custom project.

3   I started packing up my office (and shared my collection of pretty clothespins before they got tucked away) and it feels so empty and boring without my creative space. I don’t know if I’m unmotivated to work because my office is empty or because I’d much rather be moving into our new home instead.
