It was my sister’s birthday last week, and for her gift, I put it inside a pinstripe kraft box, sealed it with a gold triangle sticker, tied of bow of natural jute around it, and topped it off with a handmade tag stamped with one of my new stamps: just for you. Most of these items can be found in my Shop!

Inspired by one of my past stationery suites, this bride wanted something elegant, yet playful with type. So we assembled something classic with black and champagne brown inks. Printed on smooth white cover paper and paired with matching white envelopes, the only thing flashy about this set was the names of the couple who was getting married.

As always, this week’s gift wrap idea is inspired by this week’s inspiration palette. How do you make this yourself? For starters, wrap your gift up in pretty paper (kraft always works wonders). Then cut out rectangles from white paper in a size you prefer for your candles. Take fun striped striped washi tape (mixing in some solid colors brings it all together better) and secure a strip onto your rectangle cutouts. Trim the excess bits off. Next, cut out little flames from yellow paper. Then take a piece of white string, glue one end on top of the flame and the other end on the backside of your washi tape candles. Glue the finished candles onto your wrapped gift and voila, you’re good to go! If you’d rather purchase them pre-made, you can do so via my Shop!

Inspired by yesterday’s inspiration palette, today’s gift wrap idea just needs some white sparkly ribbon, metallic tissue paper, and mini pinecones. Make mini tassels out of the tissue paper (this DIY doesn’t teach you how to make mini ones, but at least you’ll get helpful hints on how to make them) and tie them in a row along a piece of the sparkly ribbon. Secure that strip of ribbon + tassels onto your wrapped gift and then glue the mini pinecones in between the tassels. Voila. You’ve got yourself something perfectly wrapped.
