I’ve been having so much in the studio lately, designing new cards, rubber stamps, and more for spring. I’ve been posting little peeks here and there on Instagram and will continue to do so, so if you’re curious for more details of what’s brewing, feel free to follow along! I’m hoping to get all the new goodies into the shop right after Valentine’s Day. After all, I did hang up a little something on my inspiration wall to keep me going and make this year the best one yet (see bottom left photo). Here’s to that!

I’ll be taking the rest of the year off to enjoy all the Christmas festivities that are coming up and our New Year’s weekend getaway. So I’ll wish you all a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year a little early! I’ll be posting little things here and there of what I’m up to over on Instagram and Facebook. See you all next year!

I just recently had one of my lovely friends (Angela Shae) come over and take some photos of my newly redecorated creative space. I’m thrilled with the outcome, and those of you who follow me on Instagram, know that I’ve been working on it for a while now, and I can happily say that it is finally finished! I put up the photos of my studio on my main website and also on the blog — and you can access them by clicking on the “Tour the Studio” link in the top menu.

Also, my creative space just recently got featured on Eva Black’s design blog. There’s a mini-interivew included, so head on over there to check it out. I talk about my space, what I love most about it, and a little bit more in depth of how I got started in the stationery business.

I’m overjoyed to have been able to be a part of this holiday recipes set by my talented friend Yas of Quill & Fox. When she asked me if I was willing to share one of my recipes, I jumped at the chance. Of course. Who wouldn’t, really? Yas is one of my stationery idols, you know. The recipes set was released into her shop on Friday, and I couldn’t be more happy with the end result. Yas shines once again.

Last Friday, I had the honor of getting to style a shoot with an amazing group of gals. After setting everything up and making sure all was going to plan, I whipped out my camera for some behind the scenes (BTS) shots. I’m a terrible photographer, so most of the photos I won’t even bother bringing into the light. Here’s just a few to get you going and looking forward to when the real photos (taken by the talented Angela of Eminence Photography) will finally be ready for all to see!

To stay true to the earthy + homey feel of the shoot that I wanted, our location was a park where I spent countless summer days frolicking in. I also recruited three of my pretty friends to model for me. Too bad the rain decided to pour all day long with absolutely no breaks. We were constricted to a tiny space of about 20×20 square feet and it drove us all crazy. But I think, despite all that, we as a team worked beautifully together and I just know that the images are going to be incredible because Angela doesn’t produce anything less than that.

Soooooo excited to see the real photos! Thanks to all you ladies that come out and were a part of this! And especially a big thank you to my sweet friends who modeled for the day. You’ll see a photo above of one of my models warming her feet on one of the candles from the table. Clever! It wasn’t just wet, but the coldest day of the season that we’ve had so far. I was bundled up in my wool coat, and still couldn’t feel half my body after it was all over.
