Yes, a million balloons for a one in a million mother…
My mum’s birthday was this past weekend and we went out for a family dinner to celebrate. My mum has been a source of encouragement and inspiration for me all my life, and as I grow older, I grow to love her all the more. As a pre-teen and then a teenager, I didn’t value her as much because at that age, I thought I knew everything and didn’t need an old-fashioned mother telling me how to live my life. I’m glad to see now that I was terribly wrong! Thank you mum {which I know you’ll end up reading this post some day anyways} for everything that you’ve done and keep doing. Thank you for not being scared to admit faults and grow together as friends, fellow Christians, and as a mother and daughter. Because of what you’ve done in the past years and what you do now, our family is stronger and our relationship is stronger. I love you. <3
