Custom Card: A Special Lovey Dovey

Filed Under : Cards

Have I ever told you how much I love when people get creative and take one of my card designs from my shop and ask to customize it? Well, if you didn’t know that, now you do. I love it! This time, my Lovey Dovey card was custom designed for a Jennelle and Brent who got married in September. The original design was pushed higher up on the card and the couple’s names + wedding date were added on the bottom. It’s a super easy and sweet way to personalize the card you use to congratulate the happy couple.

GHOST POPS

Hello! This is Brittany of One Charming Party. A sucker wrapped up like a ghost is a classic Halloween treat that will delight all of your little ghouls. This version is easy and quick. Take an old white sheet and cut out some small 6″ x 6″ squares with pinking shears (the scissors that cut in a triangle shape). Wrap one square around each sucker and tie with some ribbon. Add some eyes and a ghostly smile with a black marker. Boo!

{Fig, Light Plum, Antique Gold, Ivory + White}

Hello everyone! Chrissy from The Perfect Palette here just stopping by to share a little inspiration while Anastasia enjoys some well deserved rest and relaxation. I don’t know about you, but as Summer comes to an end I seriously can’t help but crave Fall weather and everything that comes along with it. So in the spirit of the upcoming season, I thought I’d share one of my favorite Fall color palettes! Just between you and me, I’ve fallen head over heels in love with this palette of plum and antique gold.Maybe it’s because I love how these colors really have a way of embodying both sophistication and romance? Or maybe it’s because I’m just seriously drawn to shades of plum here lately? All I know is… this palette would make for a lovely Fall wedding.

Lovely Weddings Tables + Bridal Hairstyle

I think what I love most about this palette is the attention to detail. From the handmade dinner menus complete with antique gold ink, to the lovely table numbers, this palette has so many creative things going for it. I personally love how elegant this feels – the elegance is seen in the gorgeous china and the lace detailing on the bride’s gown. Plus, who isn’t loving the bride’s whimsical and romantic hairstyle? I have to admit, I’m completely smitten with that sweet little hair flower… So what do you think? Are you drawn to colors like these? Might you consider using a color palette like this for your upcoming wedding?

Sometimes finding the perfect color palette can seem overwhelming. But not to fret! Finding the perfect color palette for your wedding doesn’t have to be difficult. If you’re still undecided, definitely stop by and pay me a visit! I’d love to help you find the perfect palette for your special day! xo, Chrissy.

I’m so ecstatic to be guest blogging for Anastasia. I absolutely adore her blog and I think that we’d get along fabulously in real life. Maybe someday, right? My name is Allison Lehman and I’m a designer & blogger from Columbus, Ohio!

For today’s post, I thought I would share some of my recent inspiration when it comes to wedding invitation design. Calligraphy and script doesn’t need to be stuffy or traditional. I love these examples!
