An Early Merry Christmas!

I’m taking off early this week to enjoy as much of the Christmas weekend as possible! Today is my husband’s birthday, you see. So I’ll wish you an early Merry Christmas and see you all back here on Monday.

About the weekend: my husband has both Friday and Monday off, so I’m planning to make the most of it. Tomorrow we start the Christmas festivities by sleeping in, but not too late, and then enjoying breakfast together. We rarely get to do that, so I’m really looking forward to it. And then we’ll open the presents that we got for each other. And then comes all the family time the following days plus a Christmas concert. And I’m crossing my fingers that the temperature will suddenly drop and we’ll have snow. What are your plans for the Christmas weekend? (a little Christmas greeting I put together…)

Wedding Stationery: Winter Blooms

Tanya has been one of my sweet friends for many years. It really says a lot about how we’re all growing up when you’re finding your gals pairing up with nice guys and getting married. This wedding was very special to me and I just had to do the invitations for them. So glad that I was able to. Tanya and Ed wanted a winter themed wedding that didn’t look too Christmas-y and I think they got just that. I put together a custom palette for them that you can find here. You might remember it, it was the Sweet Nature one. This stationery set was inspired by a bouquet I found via Pinterest, which got featured in the palette.

The invitations were printed on super smooth white paper and coordinated with speckled envelopes to give the stationery a more natural feel. The bride really wanted something glamorous with a not overly glamourous look. Success? I think so.
