My good friend, Angela, just launched her new brand late last week and I couldn’t be more thrilled for her! (Screenshot of her new logo + website above.) She is one talented photographer and I feel like you all need to know about her too. We were pretty much “set up” to be pals by a mutual friend and I’m so glad to have been nudged her way because she is one of the sweetest gals I know. We have known each other for less than a year and it feels like we’ve been friends for years already.

I’m sharing just a few of my favorite photos here on the blog that she’s captured over the last year, but I really encourage you to head on over to her new site to see more. And you just might find photos from our latest styled shoot on her blog (yes, totally take that as a hint to go see what I’m talking about!).

Custom Card: Fruit of Love

This was one of the custom cards I made for Valentine’s Day. The gal and her sweetheart are both health nuts (in all the best sense). She wanted to have a bowl of heart-shaped strawberries to convey that, plus a bible text on the inside. So I drew up a bowl of heart-shaped strawberries mixed up with regular looking strawberries, gave them some texture with puff glue and stuck a toothpick in one with a “love you” flag.

The inside was the most clever, I thought. The gal wanted to put Galations 5:22 there: “…the fruit of the Spirit is love…” How adorable is that? Love how she wanted to include God in her card, since He is the source of love.
