This couple had a southwestern theme for their wedding with peach and turquoise blue as their colors. We kept the invitation itself soft hued and then added the turquoise punch with the envelopes. Printed on smooth white cover paper, these invitations conveyed southwestern all over with the touches of fringe, the cactuses, and the choice of fonts.

Inspired by yesterday’s inspiration palette, this week’s gift wrap idea is all southwestern. To get the look, cut out square pieces of paper, then cut those diagonally in half. Use mounting tape to secure them onto the top of your wrapped gift. This will give the triangles a 3D look. For some extra fun, toss in something sparkly to dazzle the person you’re gifting this to.

The momma-to-be wanted her baby shower invitations to play with type. So we tossed a few fonts together with pastel colors and made ourselves a perfect little mix. They were then printed on smooth white paper and coordinated with recycled kraft envelopes. Here’s to you, baby!

Inspired by yesterday’s baby inspiration palette, today I bring you a gift wrap idea for your next baby shower. Cut out some baby things — like a bib, pajamas, a pair of socks, and a onesie — out of paper in various colors. Wrap your gift up in a sparkly baby-appropriate paper, wind some jute around to act as your clothesline, and then secure the baby pieces onto the jute with mini clothespins.

My friends Irina + Daniel are expecting the arrival of a baby boy next month. It’s always exciting when your friends start having babies; it’s endless adorableness all over the place. The couple wanted to have a nature-inspired shower with lots of green foliage. So for their invitations, I cut out nine leaves and one pacifier for each set. The foliage pieces were secured with a dab of glue and given a piece of mint washi tape across the stem to make them look like they were taped instead of glued down; the pacifier was hung from a piece of metallic silver string. The invitations were then coordinated with recycled kraft envelopes and sealed with metallic silver circle stickers.
