About Anastasia Marie

Hello, I’m Anastasia Marie Mikailenko. I’m a designer + crafter based in the Portland, Oregon metro area. My friends call me Stacey, so you are most welcome to as well. I’m the wife to a fella named Jimmy and mama to little Henry. Anastasia Marie is a stationery + design studio that began in 2010. It originally began only as a custom design service, but has then evolved to include customizable stationery and packaging supplies in my online shop. Anastasia Marie continues to specialize in the custom handmade, which includes paper layered cards, wall art, garlands, and toppers—as well as wedding and social stationery, working with brides and small businesses to bring their life’s stories and dreams into their paper goods. Oh hey, you can even tour my studio on my blog! This blog is where I share my latest projects, new shop items, palettes to inspire your everyday, DIY projects, occasional personal bits, and my most favorite of all: gift wrapping in all its forms. Thanks for stopping by!

Wedding Stationery: Wine Bottle

July 26, 2012

Filed Under : Invitations - Paper Projects - Wedding

The wedding stationery I designed for Tyler + Leah was one of my personal favorites of this year. I love the simple elegance the suite holds. You might remember their save the dates that I posted earlier on, the Anthropologie inspired ones. This stationery suite was printed on smooth creamy-toned paper with black and gray inks. We pulled some of the design off their save the dates to create an overlapping texture for the backs of each piece. And since the couple was married at a vineyard in California, a wine bottle graced the back flap of their envelopes.

Update: Oh, and guess what? You can actually customize this invitation suite for your own wedding via my Shop. That’s how much I loved how it all turned out.

For the wedding day itself, I put together some signs for the reception to help bring the stationery theme into the wedding. The photos below were taken by my friends, the lovely Emik + Yana of iDropPhoto. I also attached one of the photos of the bride and groom that I pulled off their blog; you can see the full post here.

DIY: Handmade Embellished Card

Summer is finally in full gear around here. The rain seems to have disappeared and I’m loving the constant warmth that’s surrounding me. Inspired by all the colorful cheer going all, I have another DIY tutorial for you over on Dearest Nature. I was recently asked to show how to make a pop-up flower for a card without the use of a digital cutting machine, so that’s what you’re going to be seeing. So head on over!
