I remember the days when I was terrified to mix patterns and textures. I’m still a bit uneasy about mixing patterns still when it comes to what I’m going to wear, but when it comes to packaging, I’m all in. Inspired by yesterday’s inspiration palette, here’s a gift wrap idea for you.
One thing about mixing patterns is that it’s the safest to mix them when they share the same color(s). Sometimes, throwing in a small amount of contrasting color adds some fun. For this one, I wrapped the gift up in black + white polka dot paper that I printed at home. I tied up the package with blue chevron twill ribbon, made a flower out of a napkin I picked up at Target, dabbed watermelon-colored puff glue to add some texture to the gift, and finished it off with a pink glitter tag and a gem stone brad.
I’m a such a sucker for adorable packaging. It’s one of the best parts of gift giving:) Love the color palette you’ve chosen.
Btw…I’m over the top excited about the goodies I ordered from your shop. The greeting cards are perfect for my letter a month goal:) Looking forwards to ordering again!
You are amazing. These photos are gorgeous. I’m proud of you, friend xoxo
