When Lydia came to me to help design her wedding stationery, I was ecstatic! Meeting her some years back through my sister, I grew to love her very much and was honored that she’d want me to help her with this special part of her wedding.

Lydia sent along some images of her wedding feel and style to help inspire me, and we found the black bridesmaid dresses from ModCloth to be the perfect inspiration. With red, black and white as the color palette, we set to work!

Printed on white laid paper, these simple invites featured similar blooms found on the bridesmaid dresses and enhanced with stripes on the back sides of each piece of the stationery suite. Paired with Malmero Perle’s Vermillion {red} envelopes, the stationery took on an extra dose of glamour…
